Wedding at The Gorse Hill Hotel Woking

It was a welcome return to photograph the superb Gorse Hill Hotel near Woking for Lucy and Sam’s wedding day. I love the architecture which reminds me of a French Chateau and the beautiful gardens. Lucy and family arrived in two immaculate vintage cars, one of which was definitely a Ford as it was written on the front ! […]

Southdowns Manor Wedding photographer

Its always inspiring to photograph a wedding at a new venue and my inspection of the superb Southdowns Manor for Simon and Alex’s day, certainly raised my excitement for some creative wedding photo opportunities. Set in the lovely West Sussex countryside it was v close for their church ceremony at St George’s, Trotton. […]

Sussex Wedding Photographer – Duncan & Kate’s day in Hartfield

Kate & Duncan’s day had many choice ingredients for a sussex wedding photographer’s dream wedding shoot – a period country house setting with marquee on the lawn, the pretty village church 200m away, horse and cart for the couple, cute flower girl and pageboys, string quartet, fields of wild flowers and grasses, friends and family from around the globe…… […]

Karen & John’s Wedding Day at Bartholomew Barn Kirdford

I was looking forward to photographing Karen and John’s wedding day in the sunny Sussex countryside. I had shot at Kirdford before and it was a welcome return visit to the pretty village church of John the Baptist, bang opposite the very hospitable Half Moon Inn. No time to linger though, work to be done and all that…..must come back again sometime though….!! […]

Chichester Wedding Photos from Xanthe and Alun’s day

I was looking forward to taking photos at Xanthe and Alun’s Chichester wedding day, with the rich varied locations on offer. Their ceremony took place at the Chichester Chambers in the heart of the city centre. With its historic backdrops, old stone and with the setting in the old paved bustling streets, there was a real sense of time and place. […]

Wedding Photos from Emma & Rich’s West Sussex Wedding

Plenty of superb scenery for wedding photos with Emma and Rich’s beautiful countryside wedding in West Sussex !! My first stop was with Emma and the bridesmaids getting prepared at The Swan Inn in Fittleworth. All was relaxed and serene, I met Emma picking some wild flowers and then having her hair/make up finished off with the girls, cool, calm and collected. By slight contrast, my first encounter with the boys lunch at the The White Lion in Thackenham, seemed to indicate that the previous night was perhaps of a less ‘serene’ nature !  Slightly subdued banter, the odd groan [...]

Wedding photos from Adam & Jule’s ceremony at Christchurch in Crookham and Hambledon House near Godalming Surrey

As a ‘discerning wedding photographer’, Adam and Jules’ wedding day at Hambledon House went even further than my expectations, from when they described it to me last year. Vintage cars and bus, amazing country house & grounds, giant tipis, evening light show….all the details worked so well to pack their day with visual delights. […]

Wedding Photos taken at Matt & Prim’s wedding day in Godalming Surrey

Fun, candid and natural photographs were what Matt and Prim had requested for their wedding day……oh and also a sublime sunny English summer day would be nice too?! Well, the ‘extra topping’ came in thick abundance !! The interior of St Peter’s and St Paul’s church, in the centre of Godalming, offered some cool respite from the blazing hot Surrey sun and I was more than happy to share my water bottle with the groom (dehydration can lead to fainting). Such were the conditions, that a large number of wedding guests were forced to shelter and take max refreshment in [...]
