Lovely Normanton Church wedding day by Rutland Water for Hannah & Cal
Its always a pleasure to shoot a Normanton Church wedding day and today, the warm August sunshine glistening on the reservoir was perfect. The ceremony was a bit later as well, with the sun starting to dip.
Hannah’s bridesmaids were ahead of the other guests, making some preparations to the interior for the Normanton Church wedding day ceremony. All done, candles lit, time for some bridesmaids’ photos before Hannah’s arrival in a splendid old Daimler by VP Princess Wedding Cars. Hannah looked absolutely lovely in her dress by Elite Bridal Castleford.
The 4 bridesmaids walked down the aisle individually, before Hannah & her Dad did their entrance, with Cal’s warm smile greeting her. The pretty bouquets were created by H Botanic Weddings – Etsy. Ceremonies are always intimate at a Normanton Church wedding day and even on a bright August day, the candles and hanging lights enhanced the atmosphere.
Rings & vows exchanged, and things were sealed with a kiss. Some photos with little daughter Isla, who has such a beautiful natural smile every time.
Out into the sunshine again for some group photos and a family walkabout. The setting by Rutland Water is so stunning. We could have easily spent longer, but there was a reception to get to! All aboard the vintage 1963 Bedford bus, beautifully restored and starred in the film The Damned United.
The fantastic large function room at Greetham Valley Golf Club looked stunning with all the decorations. Glorious cake was done by a friend of Hannah – MissManfab. A splendid wedding banquet was served to everyone, including the photographer – cheers guys! Some great speeches delivered by both dads ( Cal’s being his bestman) plus the groom himself.
Opportunity then to take a golf buggy trip off by lake for some sunset shots – nice. Back to the party for cake cutting, first dance and general frivolities. A fine time had by all, what an awesome, day.
