Juliet & Joe’s lovely relaxed wedding was full of sumptuous, rich colours, with their chosen garden theme. Vivid fun in the sun, for the keen Wedding photographer in Hertfordshire.

My visit to Juliet’s parents’ home for the bridal prep shots, revealed a wealth of colourful flora, inspired by their love of gardening. In addition, Juliet’s mother is a painter, and the walls were adorned with her colourful artworks.

All was pretty calm and chilled in the ‘garden house’. Plenty of time during make-up and hair finishing touches, administered by Hannah Gibbins, to take some garden air & visit the chickens, . I enjoyed using the option of red/pinkish tree, when shooting the bridesmaids in their coral (?) dresses. A few twirls & swirls and they were soon getting in the mood.

Juliet gave her Dad a ‘first view’ in her v pretty white wedding dress, as she made her way down the stairs. A touching moment, to which the nearby sleeping family dog, briefly opened one eye, in appreciation.

Off to the Sacred Heart church in Bushey and I was greeted with more wonderful colours, with Joe & the ushers sporting their flowery ties and yellow buttonholes by Shaws of Amersham, who also did the beautiful bridesmaids bouquets. Guests also played their visually aesthetic parts, by (predominantly female) wearing floral themed dresses. With all gathered in the spacious, light church interior, it was soon time to witness the bridesmaids and Juliet’s entrances.

The ceremony went very nicely, with readings by both mothers of the couple and with friends playing the organ and guitar. Stepping out, our newlyweds took off for a quick spin in the sleek Bentley, whilst everyone crossed over to the gardens of Bushey Arena, to line up for a confetti run. Champagne & canapes were served outside, with everyone enjoyed the warm sunshine. We had a large group photo, Juliet tossed her bouquet and it was then all inside the grand hall, for the wedding banquet.

Further touches to the garden theme with the pretty flower table displays, arranged by friends and family members. A wondrous wedding cake, with berries had been made by 2 close friends. It was a hearty celebration dinner, with plenty of laughter and fine speeches. Into the evening and DJ Richard Dean was mixing the grooves for the first dance with guests doing their thing on the floor.

All in all, a truly wonderful day as a Wedding Photographer in Hertfordshire, thank you for having me along guys !
